Hi everyone !

I’m excited to finally share this:
Lady Hootler #1 is OUT.

This is the very first issue of a brand-new comic series I’ve been working on for months. It’s a dark humor superhero series, filled with humor, sexiness, BDSM and some graphic violence. Of course Lady Hootler has my looks (because of popular demand ☺️), but she’s way wilder and far more unhinged than I’ll ever be.

What you’ll find inside Lady Hootler #1

• a dominatrix superhero who uses whistling to control men

• she uses kisses (wet ones) that give women “domina energy”

• Lady Hootler being dominatrix we touch some BDSM tropes and ropes (femdom, spanking, humiliation etc…)

• some gore and some action (after all, what superhero comic would it be without fights)

• retro vibes with modern humor

• a few scenes that will absolutely make you raise an eyebrow 😏

• early hints of a bigger mystery behind her powers

I’m also attaching few pages in this newsletter, for those people that get those, but don’t buy my books (don’t worry, I still love you, and I’m thankful you are interested in my journey), I’m sharing so everybody can judge the tone, the art and the dialog!

A little behind-the-scenes

While I was writing Issue #1, and even after I started getting the pages back from the fantastic Patrick O’Donnell, I honestly wasn’t sure what tone the comic would end up having. Because, yes, I knew what people will say - but HOW they will say it, and also adding captions can make a whole lot of difference!
I knew I want to have parts of:

• a hint of Douglas Adams absurdity

• a retro Silver Age vibe

• snappy, modern dialogue

• and (of course) lots of attitude

Nothing felt “locked in”… until I started lettering.
After I lettered the first three pages, I knew I got the right tone. I sent it to Patrick to see what he thinks, and he loved it too! The rhythm, the voice, the humor - suddenly with those added balloons and captions, the whole comic felt alive, and the world felt “lived in”.

The final touch to the comic was done by P.R.Soliver who added the colors, and I think he did a fantastic job.

So, I guess you can say I’m incredibly happy with how Issue #1 turned out.
I really hope you’ll love it too. ❤️

Issue #2 already started

Now that the tone, powers, and limits of Lady Hootler are fully set, Issue #2 is already underway with Patrick O’Donnell.

You know guys, that I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I really can’t hold myself on this one - make sure to read Lady Hootler #1. Not only is it a lot of fun on its own, but it will also prepare you for something even wilder coming in Issue #2.
